2. What data we process

We only process the data needed to sell and provide the license:

• Email address – to deliver your license key and invoice;
• Payment data – processed by Stripe; we never receive full card/account details;
• License data – license key, status, expiry date (if any) and an anonymous device identifier;
• Support requests – name, email, subject, message and timestamp.

We use no marketing trackers, no profiling and no advertising cookies.

3. Hosting (Vercel)

This website and the license server are hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). When you access them, technically necessary server log files (including IP address, timestamp, requested resource) are processed. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR); standard contractual clauses are in place for transfers to the USA.

4. License and device data (Vercel KV)

License key, license status and the anonymous device identifier are stored in a key-value store (Vercel KV / Upstash) to verify licenses and prevent abuse (Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract).

5. Web analytics (Vercel)

We use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service that measures aggregated page views without cookies and without storing personal profiles. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding usage of our website (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR).

6. Payments (Stripe)

Payment processing is handled by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR. Stripe's privacy notice applies.

7. Email delivery (Resend)

We send the license key and support notifications via Resend, Inc. (USA). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR; standard contractual clauses are in place for transfers to the USA.

8. License validation by the plugin

It transmits no

• mouse movements or keyboard input,
• clipboard contents,
• screen contents,
• or any other usage data.

All detection of copy actions, scrolling and notification triggers runs entirely locally on your device – none of it leaves your computer. The device identifier is a random per-installation identifier without any personal reference (not a hardware serial number). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR and our legitimate interest in protection against misuse (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR).

9. Retention period

• License data: up to 3 years after the contract ends;
• Support requests: 12 months after the last communication;
• Invoices/accounting: 10 years (statutory retention obligation).

10. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. To exercise them, contact Nico.Sagolla@gmx.de; we respond within 30 days.

11. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority — in Germany, with the authority responsible for your place of residence.

12. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the "https://" in your browser's address bar.
