End User License Agreement (EULA)

// Last updated: July 2026 · Draft, subject to legal review

1. Parties

This End User License Agreement is concluded between Nico Sagolla, Am Durchlaß 12, 88175 Scheidegg, Germany ("Provider") and you ("Licensee") regarding the software "Advanced Haptics" ("Software").

2. Subject of the license and usage rights

The Provider grants the Licensee a simple, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the Software as intended on their own devices after payment of the purchase price. The license is bound to a valid license key.

3. Restrictions

Without prior written consent, it is prohibited to reverse-engineer the Software (unless permitted by law), decompile it, rent, sublicense or sell it, or to pass on or circumvent license keys.

4. Scope without a license

The Software is not available for functional use without a valid, purchased license key. All features are unlocked only after activation with a valid license key.

5. License verification

To verify validity, the Software transmits the license key and an anonymous device identifier to the Provider's license server. Details are governed by the Privacy Policy. Offline use is possible within a limited time window.

6. Hardware requirement

The haptic functions require a compatible Logitech MX Master 4 with current firmware and Logi Options+ (Plugin API ≥ 6.2.1) on macOS or Windows. Logitech and "MX Master" are trademarks of their respective owners; there is no affiliation with or endorsement by Logitech.

7. Warranty and liability

The Software is provided "as is". The Provider is liable only for intent and gross negligence, as well as for injury to life, body or health or under mandatory statutory provisions (e.g. product liability). Otherwise, liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

8. Term and termination

The agreement runs for an indefinite period. In the event of material breaches of this agreement, the Provider may revoke the license.

9. Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. Details and the expiry of the right of withdrawal for digital content are governed by the Right of Withdrawal.

10. Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Should any provision be invalid, the remainder of the agreement remains effective.
